FERAL FATALE
Director: Emma Eisner Short Film The props for my short film, “Feral Fatale” were minimal, but intricate. I needed a rabbit that could play three different ways. One, dead limp rabbit that had been shot. Two, a skinned rabbit ready to “roast” at the fire on camera. And three, an edible vegan meat for the actors to eat on camera. I found a rabbit hide online, stuffed and sewed it to look limp. Then, found a skinnned bloody rabbit fright prop and put it on a spike to play on camera. I baked a rabbit-shaped vegan meat loaf so the two actors could eat with peace of mind. Prop weapons were fun to source and rented from a notable weapon prop master in Los Angeles. I built a faux fire pit, putting a light in the middle, with a dimmer to keep it going.
